Our collaboration with our friends at Oyster House Brewing is an Oyster and Sea Bean Gose. This Gose is deliciously tart and slightly salty. The addition of caramelized lemons to the boil brought the refreshing quality of this brew to the next level. Every sip of this beer begs for another.
This beer will be released on draft on Thursday, May 31, at our Coxe Ave and Merrimon Ave locations at 11 am.
Based off the original style out of Goslar, Germany, this dry, crisp gose will perk the hairs up on your neck, but do not worry, you will settle back down into your seat once the refreshing slightly salty dark berry aroma and flavor take over the taste buds.
This refreshingly tart gose is ready for spring. Mangose has sea salt and coriander added to the boil and mangos added during fermentation, leaving a pleasant stone fruit finish.
A Traditional German-style sour beer, infused with sea salt, coriander and lime peel, goes on holiday to the home of the blue agave, sunny Mexico. On our search for the perfect warm weather beer, we wanted something light bodied and thirst quenching, yet filled with complex and interesting flavors. We stumbled across the fruit of the prickly pear cactus, native to California. This tangy fruit is a great complement to the tart and refreshing traditional gose style beer.
